My Father Died Four Years Ago

In this series I painstakingly built a digital background over images of my father to create a series of photographs in which I could see the hole that he left when he died. These photographs provide a record of loss that is different from any in the archive. Through this deletion the smallest details become magnified and you can study the space that his body occupied. The imbalance and emptiness that is created becomes a way to describe who he is in the present moment even after his death.
